“By this everyone will know you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:35
This verse has been our guide during this pandemic. Every decision we’ve made has been made with the love (and therefore, safety) of others in mind. I would rather we were known as overly cautious as opposed to reckless, especially when it comes to the health and safety of others.
By now you probably know that two of the members of our congregation have the COVID virus. Because of this, we are suspending all of our church activities for the next two weeks. This includes our Zoom gatherings, as many of those participating were doing so by gathering in apartments and viewing together. Our hope is that we can all stay separate and safe over the next two weeks with the idea of resuming some manner of gathering then.
I hope that you will continue to read and pray with us, so I’ve included the next two weeks with of Bible Readings and Prayer Focuses at this link. I will also be posting some short devotional videos on both YouTube and Facebook, if you’d like to check them out (links will be sent out via email).
Thank you for continually loving one another and showing that love to the others in the building!
